Tamara Ganschow (Trousdale)

TAMARA TROUSDALE Tamara Trousdale, cherished wife of 30 years and mother of two beautiful daughters, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 31, 2012. She was 53. Tami was born Jan. 4, 1959 in San Bernardino, Calif. She and her family moved to Las Vegas when Tami was four, and she attended Vegas Verdes Elementary, Hyde Park Jr. High and Clark High School before earning her associates degree in accounting at the College of Southern Nevada in 1985. Tami met her future husband, Mike, Dec. 20, 1979. Mike knew he was going to marry Tami the same day he met her. The two were married at First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, April 14, 1981. Tami enjoyed camping, hiking, reading, sewing, baking, cooking, and crafts. Most of all, she loved the Lord and her family, and was always involved with her daughters' activities. When her daughters both got married, Tami adored their husbands as well, grateful to have "sons" after raising two girls. Tami was passionate about her two teams, the Chargers and the Dodgers, and found great pleasure in her Bible study and book club groups. She also loved her home in Klamath Falls, Ore., which Tami and Mike purchased just before Christmas in 2006. She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Grove. She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughters, Darci (Chad) New and Kayla (Austin) Cornwell; brother, Gib Ganschow; niece, Tayler Ganschow; nephew, Tripp Ganschow; and stepfather, Carl Grove.
